My mission to begin lifting weights is leaving me a little exhausted…and hungry!
Today, at Sam’s Club, I bought a big bag of my favorite protein powder. EAS makes a Lean 15 product with 15 grams of protein per serving but only 100 calories. With a some PB2, this little guy filled me up! Here’s what you need:
- 2 scoops of Lean 15
- 2 tablespoons of PB2
- 2 cups of spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon of greek yogurt
- 10 oz. of water
- 8 ice cubes
Put it all in a blender and there you have it! This smoothies contains about 275 calories which makes it a perfect snack or post-workout meal.
It was time for lunch after I got home for the gym, so I ate an apple with cinnamon and a handful of Mediterranean PopChips.
